Students are practicing number recognition, comparing numbers, sorting and counting, using flashcards, then comparing numbers and counting through some online exercises on the IWB.

Design & Technology

During the Design and Technology ‘Dinja Wahda’ Activity, the students had to cut some wild flowers and leaves and decorated a quote which was used as a decoration in our classroom.

Tick Tock! Lately during Numeracy sessions some of our students were busy learning about the clock and time.

Maypole Outing

The students of class 2 and class 4 had the opportunity to visit the Maypole Factory in Qormi. They could observe the process of the Maltese bread making, fancy bread and other pastries. They also had the chance to knead some dough.

ILS – Doing the Laundry

Students are using the washing machine and learning concepts on how to wash clothes properly.


Students are learning about kitchen appliances and are using some of them in our flatlet.


Internet Responsibility

Students are learning about how to be safe online, mainly about how not to share personal information online and having an adult around always when using the computer. They also learned about the importance of never talking to strangers online, sticking to websites that are appropriate for them and talking to an adult if they see anything uncomfortable online.

Design & Technology

During the Design and Technology lessons, the students had the opportunity to make use of the sewing machine while designing and making a textiles project.

Independent Living Skills

During the Independent Living Skills lessons, the students of class 8 had the opportunity to practice how to prepare a snack. The students went through all steps to make a sandwich mainly; washing their hands before handling food, prepare the needed cutlery and utensils, washing and slicing the vegetables, spreading butter and choosing which they want for their sandwich. Finally, after eating their snack, the students had to clean up the kitchen’.
