Erasmus+ 2016 – 2018

Project: “Inclusive education and shaping the competences of pupils in special schools.”

During the scholastic year 2016-2017 our centre started an Erasmus + project with a school in Kepno, Poland. This project involved training of teachers from both schools as well as student exchange programs.

The aim of the project was to exchange good practices between schools working with learners with disabilities where learners developed basic life skills and independent living skills. This project helped learners to acquire:

1) the ability to make social interactions with new people with different language, culture, food etc.) from a different country with whom they make friends and encounter in their respective countries.

2) the ability to cooperate in small projects with newly encountered people,

3) the ability to adequately select clothes for different weather conditions.

4) the ability to safely explore a new environment, learning to recognize and identify areas that are safe and those that are not.
