FEE Fest

This year the FEE fest was held on the 12th January. Students from the EkoSkola and Leaf committee attended to participate in various activities held. Apart from visiting the stands of the same projects, the students played games related to the We Eat Responsibly project and Electricity awareness. Moreover, the students attended a session of ‘Aqra Mieghi’ where together with other students from a different school participated in listening to a story. The story was very interactive and our students enjoyed it a lot.

Visiting an Organic Farm

As part of the We Eat Responsibly project, our students had the opportunity to visit the Dun Manuel Attard YAERC, Wardija, organic farm. During this visit, our students had a tour around the greenhouse and were given a brief explanation on specific vegetables and flora and fauna found at the centre. Afterwards the students were welcomed in the Home Economics lab where they made grilled aubergines and a carob cake. To finish the visit, students planted basil using used yoghurt caps.

The Implementation of the Vertical Wall Garden

This project which is part of the We Eat Responsibly project was initiated during the last scholastic year. All classes will be having their own Vertical Wall Garden. The purpose of this project is to give the opportunity to the students to plant and grow herbs.
